How to Calculate your
Life Number?

In numerology calculation, this is how you calculate your Life Number or Life Path Number. Life number is obtained by adding up all the numbers in your day, month, and the year, from your date of birth. For Example:

  • Suppose you are born on 12-11-1958
  • Add up all the numbers in that date 12-11-1958
  • That is add up your day, month and year numbers in 12-11-1958
  • That is {(1+2) + (1+1) + (1+9+5+8)}
  • That is {(3 + 2 + 23) = 10}
  • Add 1 and 0 in 10
  • {(1+0) = 1}
  • That gives you 1.
  • Therefore, Your Life Number is 1.
Life Number is the same as Life Path Number.

How To Calculate your
Name Number?

Now I will tell you how you have to calculate your Name Number or Expression Number. Your name number is the sum total value of all the individual alphabets’ numerical values. For Example:

  • Suppose your Name is C. JOHN ANDREWS DOLBY
  • Write and add up all the numerical values of all the alphabets in your name.
  • The name is C. JOHN ANDREWS DOLBY
  • write the numerical values to calculate the Total.
  • C. J O H N A N D R E W S D O L B Y
  • That is (3)+ (1+7+5+5)+(1+5+4+2+5+6+3)+(4+7+3+2+1)
  • That is (3) + (18) + (26) + (17)
  • Reduce these numbers to single digit by addition
  • That is (3) + (1+8) + (2+6) + (1+7)
  • That is (3) + (9) + (8) + (8)
  • Your name has four component numbers.
  • These are 3, 9, 8 and 8.
  • Now add all these numbers.
  • That is {(3+9+8+8) = 28}}.
  • That gives you 28.
  • Now add 2 and 8 in 28.
  • That is (2+8) = 10.
