As per name numerology, my name number and birth number all are 8. What you have mentioned about 8 makes sense to me. Added on top I am a Virgo also. Point is I have realized a lot in life, I am only 21 but the knowledge I have is immense.
A particular incident i would like to share. It was 26 August, my birth day and I was depressed and had decided to kill myself because I was always misunderstood.
My plan was very good. I locked myself in a room and consumed 80 sleeping tablets. As luck would have the worker had forgotten his wallet, broke the lock, and saved my life.
Point is I feel God wants No. 8 people to survive, help people, and expect nothing in return.

Glad that you escaped due to your good karma in the past. But take this as a warning and correct your name according to name numerology. Otherwise you will face more and more troubles in future.
